National Collector’s Mint 1933 Double Eagle Replica Proof Set 24K Gold Layered over .999 Silver - Set of two commemorative medallions replicating the iconic 1933 Double Eagle coin design. Produced by the National Collector’s Mint, this ”Proof Set” is certified to contain two pieces layered in pure 24 Kt. Gold. The Certificate of Authenticity states that one proof is minted in one full ounce of .999 Pure Silver, and the second is clad in 100 Mil .999 Pure Silver. Both pieces exhibit proof quality finish, featuring highly polished fields and frosted devices. The obverse depicts the St. Gaudens design of Lady Liberty, inscribed ”LIBERTY” and dated ”1933.” The reverse features the flying eagle design, inscribed ”UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” ”E PLURIBUS UNUM,” and ”IN GOD WE TRUST.” These pieces are clearly marked as replicas, bearing the inscription ”COPY #.” Accompanied by the original National Collector’s Mint Certificate of Authenticity signed by Barry M.
