A Trio of Scandinavian Viking Revival Sterling Silver Salt Cellar and Shaker Set - A trio of Scandinavian Viking Revival condiment pieces, featuring a salt cellar, a standing shaker, and a miniature salt spoon. The style is consistent with designs produced by Theodor Olsen Eftf of Norway. The salt cellar is fashioned as a Viking longship (drakkar) with stylized zoomorphic prows and a hull decorated with circular shields. It contains a fitted, removable oval liner of cobalt blue glass. The shaker is executed in the form of a standing drinking horn (rhyton), supported by integral legs, and topped with a perforated silver lid. The miniature salt spoon features a stylized sailing ship finial. The spoon is marked ”STERLING SWEDEN” on the reverse, confirming its material as Sterling silver. The metal components are constructed primarily of silver, consistent with the Sterling mark found on the spoon and the 925/Sterling attribution for similar Theodor Olsen pieces.
