Bidspirit auction | A Collection of 4 Napcoware

A Collection of 4 Napcoware Mid-Century Lady Head Vases - This collection consists of four vintage figural head planters, commonly attributed to Napcoware (National Potteries Corporation) and dating to the mid-20th century. Crafted from glazed ceramic, each piece depicts the bust of a woman with highly stylized hair, heavy facial makeup (blue eyeshadow, red lipstick), and simulated pearl necklaces and earrings. The four figures display varied hairstyles and attire: two feature blonde hair and two feature light brown/auburn hair. Two figures wear green dresses, one wears a black suit jacket with a white collar, and one wears a light blue trimmed bustier. Accessories include a molded purple flower on one figure and a sculpted black bow on the figure in the black suit. One figure features a molded hand with a green glove resting near the neck. The items function as planters or vases, with an open cavity at the top of the head.
