Reclaimed Architectural Window Sash Attributed to Addison Glass c.1900 - A single reclaimed architectural window sash, attributed to Addison Glass of Addison, NY, dating to the late Victorian or Edwardian period, circa 1900. The window is constructed of wood and features individual glass sections set within the frame. The design is characterized by a large, central rectangular pane of gray, acid-etched, or heavily frosted glass, surrounded by a perimeter border composed of 16 smaller, deeply colored pressed and textured glass panels. The colored panels utilize shades of cobalt blue, deep purple, and forest green. Several border panels feature embossed naturalistic motifs, including repeating ivy or vine-like patterns, and at least one panel depicting a bird in flight. The construction style is consistent with the Arts and Crafts movement prevalent around the turn of the century.
