Miniature End of Day Glass Parade Cane Style Cocktail Stirring Rod - A single miniature End of Day glass stirring rod, executed in the style of a traditional parade cane. This piece, presumably Steuben, was found among a collection of canes in the basement of an old estate in Elmira, NY. The rod is constructed from clear, colorless glass internally infused with alternating fused canes of amber/honey-brown and colorless glass, creating a distinct striped effect. The handle is formed into a shepherd's crook shape, bending sharply at a right angle and terminating in a squared cross-section. The shaft transitions into a long, tightly twisted, spiral-ribbed form suitable for mixing cocktails. No manufacturer's marks or inscriptions are visible.
