Vintage Resin or Laminate Crook Handle Parade Cane, Cherry Amber Style - A single walking stick or cane constructed from a dark, highly polished, translucent synthetic material, likely lucite or dense resin, exhibiting a deep reddish-brown or burgundy hue suggestive of cherry amber. The piece features an L-shaped crook handle with a molded, rounded terminal end and stacked horizontal ribbing along the curve. The shaft is straight and faceted, transitioning into an extended, continuous barley-twist or spiral pattern near the tip. This item is styled after the traditional ”End of Day” parade canes, sometimes presumably associated with makers like Steuben, and was reportedly found in the basement of an old estate in Elmira, NY.
