The group includes tokens from locations such as Waukegan, Illinois; Aliquippa, Pennsylvania; St. Louis, Missouri; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Louisville, Kentucky; and New Britain, Connecticut. Represented companies include the Chicago North Shore and Milwaukee Railroad (C.N.S. & M. R.R. Co.), Woodlawn & Southern Motor Coach Co., United Railways Co., Gary Railways Inc., and the Connecticut Railway & Lighting Co.
