A Collection of 19th-Century United States and Canadian Copper Coinage - A collection of 19th-century United States and Canadian copper and bronze coinage. The group includes United States large cents with dates including 1833, 1838, 1841, and 1847. Also present are multiple United States two-cent pieces dated 1864 and 1865. Canadian and colonial interest is represented by an 1854 Bank of Upper Canada half penny token and a Victorian-era 1888 half cent. The coins are struck in copper and bronze alloys and feature various period-appropriate motifs, including the Coronet Head and Braided Hair designs on the US cents and the shield design on the two-cent pieces. Each item is individually housed in a cardboard and plastic protective flip with handwritten identification and historical price notations. Each flip measures approximately 2 x 2 inches.
