A Collection of United States Silver Dimes including Liberty Seated Barber and Mercury Types - A collection of United States silver dimes spanning the mid-19th to mid-20th centuries. The assortment includes Liberty Seated dimes dated 1856 and 1884, Barber dimes dated 1898, 1905, and 1914, and Mercury dimes with dates ranging from 1936 to 1945. These coins are struck in 90 percent silver. All items feature standard United States coinage inscriptions including LIBERTY, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, and ONE DIME. The obverse designs include the seated figure of Liberty, the Liberty head profile by Charles E. Barber, and the winged head of Liberty by Adolph A. Weinman. Reverse motifs include various wreaths and the fasces with an olive branch.
