Calonne Swiss .800 Silver Open-Face Remontoir Pocket Watch - A Swiss-manufactured .800 silver open-face pocket watch produced for the German market, circa 1900. The watch features a white enamel dial with black Roman numeral hour markers, an outer Arabic minute track, and a subsidiary seconds dial at the six o'clock position. The hands are of a decorative filigree design. The silver case back is decorated with an engraved scene of a rearing horse before a farmhouse. The interior of the case bears the serial number 42319, the 0.800 silver purity mark, the name CALONNE, and hallmarks including the Swiss grouse and the German moon and crown. A gilt-metal inner dust cover is professionally engraved with H. Keersken Dinslaken. The manual-wind movement includes a regulator arm marked with the French terms Avance and Retard.
