A Pair of American Historic Society Morgan Silver Dollar Quartz Pocket Watches - A pair of silver-tone hunter-case pocket watches produced by the American Historic Society, each featuring an integrated United States Morgan Silver Dollar. The coins are dated 1880 and 1891. Each watch features a white dial with black Roman numeral hour markers, ornate black hands, and a central torch icon. The dials are marked AMERICAN HISTORIC SOCIETY QUARTZ and JAPAN MOVT. The internal mechanism is a single-jewel quartz movement manufactured by Miyota Co., Japan. The decorative cases are embellished with intricate scrollwork borders and a relief-cast eagle motif on the reverse. One watch retains a gold-tone adhesive label marked MADE IN HONG KONG.
