Two United States Morgan Silver Dollars 1884 and 1886-O - Two United States Morgan silver dollars comprising an 1884 issue and an 1886-O issue from the New Orleans mint. These coins are struck in 90 percent silver and feature the design by George T. Morgan. The obverse of each coin displays a profile portrait of Lady Liberty facing left, wearing a coronet inscribed with LIBERTY and a cap adorned with wheat and cotton. The obverse perimeter includes the Latin motto E PLURIBUS UNUM, thirteen stars, and the respective dates. The reverse features a heraldic eagle with outstretched wings holding an olive branch and arrows, partially enclosed by a laurel wreath. Reverse inscriptions include UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, In God we trust, and the ONE DOLLAR denomination. A prominent O mint mark is located on the reverse of the 1886 specimen above the DOLLAR inscription.
