Two United States Morgan Silver Dollars, 1881 and 1890-O - A pair of United States Morgan silver dollars. The first specimen is dated 1881 and was minted in Philadelphia, as indicated by the absence of a mint mark. The second specimen is dated 1890 and features an O mint mark on the reverse, signifying production at the New Orleans Mint. Each coin is composed of silver. The obverse of both coins displays the left-facing profile of Liberty wearing a cap with a ribbon inscribed LIBERTY, surrounded by the motto E PLURIBUS UNUM, thirteen stars, and the mintage year. The reverse features a heraldic eagle with outstretched wings holding an olive branch and arrows, encircled by a wreath and the inscriptions UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and ONE DOLLAR, with the motto In God we trust positioned above the eagle.
