A Collection of United States Circulated Coinage, 20th Century - A collection of United States coinage comprising various denominations, including Lincoln wheat and steel cents, Jefferson nickels, Roosevelt dimes, and Washington quarters. The coins date primarily from the 20th century. Individual pieces are housed in cardboard and plastic flips, many featuring handwritten notations regarding the year, mint mark, and condition assessments such as VG, Fine, and G-4. Notable examples include Lincoln cents from 1901, 1918-D, 1919, 1920, 1923, 1924-S, 1927, 1928, and 1929-S, as well as 1943 steel cents from the Philadelphia, Denver, and San Francisco mints. The collection also contains 1776-1976 Bicentennial Washington quarters and Roosevelt dimes. Several flips are printed with the inscription private collection of FRED GAGE. The items are contained within a blue plastic storage box with an embossed eagle motif on the lid. Individual flips measure 2x2 inches.
