A Collection of United States Franklin Silver Half Dollars - This collection of United States Franklin half dollars is composed of 90 percent silver. The obverse of each coin features the right facing profile of Benjamin Franklin with the inscriptions LIBERTY and IN GOD WE TRUST. The reverse depicts the Liberty Bell with a small heraldic eagle to the right, surrounded by the inscriptions UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, and HALF DOLLAR. The group includes various mintage years including 1951, 1953, 1958, 1959, and 1963. Several specimens exhibit the D mint mark for the Denver Mint located above the Liberty Bell on the reverse.
