A Collection of 1964 Kennedy Half Dollars - A collection of United States Kennedy half dollars, all dated 1964. These coins are struck in 90 percent silver. The obverse of each coin features the left-facing portrait of President John F. Kennedy, designed by Gilroy Roberts, with the inscriptions LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, and the date 1964. The reverse, designed by Frank Gasparro, depicts the Presidential Seal featuring an eagle holding an olive branch and a bundle of arrows, surrounded by a ring of stars. Inscriptions on the reverse include UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, the Latin motto E PLURIBUS UNUM, and the denomination HALF DOLLAR.
