A Collection of Walking Liberty Silver Half Dollars - A collection of United States Walking Liberty half dollars struck in 90% silver. The obverse of each coin features the design by Adolph A. Weinman depicting Liberty in stride toward the sun, draped in the American flag and carrying branches of laurel and oak. Inscriptions include LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, and various mintage years including 1917, 1934, 1935, and 1938. The reverse of each coin displays an eagle perched upon a mountain crag with wings unfolded. Reverse inscriptions include UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, and the denomination HALF DOLLAR. The coins are composed of a silver alloy and feature reeded edges.
