A Pair of United States Morgan Silver Dollars, 1890-O and 1899-O - This lot comprises two United States Morgan silver dollars produced at the New Orleans Mint. The specimens are dated 1890 and 1899. Both coins display the O mint mark on the reverse side. The obverse features the profile of Lady Liberty wearing a Phrygian cap with the inscription LIBERTY, surrounded by the motto E PLURIBUS UNUM and thirteen stars. The reverse depicts a heraldic eagle holding arrows and an olive branch within a laurel wreath, with the text UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and the denomination ONE DOLLAR. Each coin is secured in a white cardboard 2x2 protective flip. The holder for the 1890 coin contains handwritten blue ink notations.
