A Collection of United States Walking Liberty Silver Half Dollars - A collection of United States Walking Liberty silver half-dollar coins. Struck in 90% silver, the group includes various mintage years such as 1937, 1944, and 1945. The obverse of each coin features the design by Adolph A. Weinman depicting Lady Liberty walking toward a rising sun, with the inscriptions LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, and the date. The reverse displays an eagle perched on a rock with unfolded wings, surrounded by the legends UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, and HALF DOLLAR. At least one coin from 1944 bears a D mint mark for the Denver Mint.
