A Collection of Native American Stone Tools, Projectile Points, and Historical Artifacts - This collection features an assortment of knapped lithic projectile points and tools in various materials including chert, obsidian, jasper, and flint. The lithic group displays a range of forms such as stemmed, notched, and fluted points, with several specimens bearing handwritten ink inscriptions identifying find locations in Indiana and Illinois. Included alongside the stone tools are 19th-century metal artifacts, such as lead Minie balls and round shot, weathered copper alloy coins, and flat metal buttons, with one button marked TREBLE GILT COLOUR. The assembly is further comprised of fossilized shark teeth, stone and glass marbles, and various pieces of handwritten and typed provenance ephemera citing origins from Northern California, Arizona, and Colorado. Ephemera includes a typed note regarding finds near Adin and Lookout, California, and a handwritten note referencing Alibate chert from Texas and a date of 1926.
