Two Sterling Silver Items Including a Mexican Plata de Jalisco Aztec Motif Belt Buckle - This lot features two sterling silver items: a Mexican belt buckle and a sewing thimble. The rectangular belt buckle is attributed to Plata de Jalisco and features a central raised medallion depicting an Aztec feathered serpent head, Quetzalcoatl. The surrounding field is decorated with hand-engraved scroll and feather motifs within a serrated border. The reverse is stamped with the marks SILVER, MEXICO, MEXICO, and 0925, along with a Mexican eagle hallmark containing a number in the center. The sewing thimble features a honeycomb dimpled cap and a base band with chased foliate scroll decoration.
