A Pair of Barbour Silver Co. Sterling Silver Salt Cellars with Two Matching Spoons - A set of two sterling silver open salt cellars and two matching salt spoons. The salt cellars are manufactured by the Barbour Silver Co. of Hartford, Connecticut. Each cellar features an octagonal rim surrounding an oval central well. The rims are decorated with engraved rectangular panels containing floral and foliate motifs, separated by shield-shaped cartouches. The matching spoons feature tapered handles with pointed terminals and a geometric Art Deco-style design. The base of each salt cellar is stamped with the letters B, S, M, C, and O in individual rectangular cartouches, followed by the word STERLING and the pattern number 74X. The reverse of each spoon handle is stamped STERLING. Weight: 1.211 ozt Dimensions: Salt cellars approximately 3 inches by 2 inches; spoons approximately 2.25 inches in length.
