Hand-Painted Porcelain Floral Brooch with Gilded Scrollwork - This circular brooch features a hand-painted porcelain cabochon in the style of Limoges, depicting a floral bouquet of crimson and pink roses, blue blossoms, and green foliage against a white ground. The design includes a crescent-shaped area of gold-toned scrollwork accented with four light-blue faceted glass stones. The porcelain is held in place by six gold-toned metal prongs attached to a circular gold-toned metal backplate. The reverse of the backplate is engraved with the name Elena in cursive script. The piece is fitted with a silver-toned metal hinged horizontal pin and a rolling safety catch. Dimensions: 1.25 inches in diameter.
