Victorian Woven Hair Mourning Brooch with Heart Motif and Pendants - A Victorian-era mourning brooch featuring a bow-shaped body of finely woven brown hair. The center is decorated with a polished yellow-tone metal heart. Two matching woven-hair teardrop-shaped pendants are suspended from short lengths of curb link chain. The brooch is constructed with yellow-tone metal end caps and a central structural bar on the reverse. The fastening mechanism consists of a long pin stem and a simple C-clasp.
