A Collection of Antique and Vintage Stick Pins - This collection of stick pins features a diverse array of late 19th to mid-20th-century motifs including equestrian, architectural, and classical designs. The equestrian subjects include a silver-tone rearing horse, a gold-tone horse head profile, and a molded black glass or jet horse head profile. Architectural interest is represented by a gold-tone miniature of the Brandenburg Gate. Ornamental pieces include an oval silver-tone plaque engraved with the cursive monogram JMW, a heraldic embossed bronze-tone pin, and an Art Nouveau-style pin set with a green faceted glass stone. Gemstone and glass elements throughout the collection include faceted stones in pink, red, and purple, as well as cabochons in black glass, red glass, and an iridescent mother-of-pearl. One pin features a concentric blue and white enamel eye motif. The pins are constructed with long metal shafts, some featuring a twisted design for improved grip. Indistinct and worn markings are present on the reverse of the enamel pin and the embossed bronze-tone pin, though they are not clearly legible. Lengths range from approximately 2 inches to 3.5 inches.
