Description:

Two Sterling Silver Religious Items Including a Malco Devotional Chain and a JJC Angel Brooch
This lot features two sterling silver devotional items. The first is a single-decade rosary-style devotional chain composed of twelve faceted red glass beads connected by twisted wire links. The chain includes three distinct medals: a circular Saint Christopher medal inscribed Saint Christopher Protect Us, a diamond-shaped Sainte Anne de Beaupre medal with a bow motif inscribed Sainte Anne De Beaupre P.P.N., and a shield-shaped centerpiece depicting the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The reverse of the Saint Christopher medal is stamped with the maker mark Malco and Sterling. The second item is a figural brooch designed as a stylized angel viewed from the back, featuring a textured halo, wings, and robe with hands clasped behind the back. The reverse of the brooch is stamped with the maker mark JJC, a copyright symbol, and Ster. The brooch is secured with a pin stem and a rolling safety catch.

Brooch dimensions: 1.75 inches (W) x 1.5 inches (H).

Both items are in good vintage condition. The sterling silver surfaces exhibit light tarnish, a natural patina, and minor surface scratches consistent with age and use. The glass beads are intact, and the brooch clasp is in functional condition.
