A Pair of Vintage Mexican Alpaca Silver and Abalone Inlay Dangle Earrings - This is a matched pair of Mexican dangle earrings crafted from alpaca silver, which is a non-precious nickel-copper-zinc alloy. Each earring features a central stylized trefoil motif with an openwork frame, decorated with a geometric mosaic inlay of iridescent abalone shell and a black material, likely onyx or dyed stone. Three elongated, teardrop-shaped pendants are suspended from the base of each central element by jump rings. The earrings are equipped with fishhook backs, also known as French wires, and include clear plastic stoppers. The reverse of each earring is stamped with the marks ALPACA and MEXICO.
