French Art Deco Gilt Metal Holy Water Font of Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupre - This French Art Deco-style holy water font is a devotional object constructed from cast metal with a gold-toned finish. The design features a geometric backplate with stepped architectural elements. At the base is a small basin embossed with a central cross and sunburst motif. The central circular plaque, rendered in a contrasting dark gray metal, depicts the crowned figures of Saint Anne and the young Virgin Mary. The inscription arched around the figures reads SAINTE ANNE DE BEAUPRE. The reverse is stamped with the characters MADE IN FRANCE and DEPOSE, indicating its origin and status as a registered design.
