Armiro 17 Rubis Manual Wind Swiss Wristwatch, circa 1950s - A mid-20th-century Swiss-made Armiro manual wind wristwatch. Watch Runs, The cream-colored dial features applied gold-tone Arabic numerals at the even hours and dart-shaped indices at the odd hours. It is equipped with gold-tone dauphine-style hour and minute hands and a central sweep seconds hand with a red arrow tip. The dial is marked ARMIRO 17 RUBIS and SWISS at the 6 o'clock position. The watch features a chrome-plated base metal case with a screw-down stainless steel case back. The case back is stamped WATERPROOF, INCABLOC, ANTIMAGNETIC, and STAINLESS STEEL BACK. The interior of the case back has hand-scribed service marks. The movement is a Swiss manual-wind caliber featuring 17 jewels and an Incabloc shock-protection system. The movement bridges are stamped SEVENTEEN 17 JEWELS and SWISS MADE UNADJUSTED. Case diameter: 33mm Lug-to-lug: 40mm.
