A Collection of Sterling Silver Sports Award Medals and Charms Dated 1927-1931 - This collection of Art Deco era sports awards consists of one medallion and five charms crafted in sterling silver with enamel accents. The primary component is a circular medallion with a scalloped edge and suspension loop from Camp Runoia, a girls camp located in Maine. The obverse features an embossed image of a female athlete holding a tennis racket, standing with a basketball at her feet and crossed baseball bats in the background, surrounded by the text CAMP RUNOIA. The reverse is engraved FOR HIGHEST HONORS IN JUNIOR SPORTS 1927 and bears a makers mark of a stylized H inside a shield above the word STERLING. The collection includes four spherical charms, three modeled as basketballs with lace detailing and one as a lined sphere. Each sphere features a blue enamel letter W and engraved dates including 1929, 1930, and 1931. Also included is a tennis racket charm featuring a blue enamel letter W on the racket face, with the reverse engraved 30 and STERLING.
