1949 Bulova His Excellency 10K Gold Filled Manual Wind Wristwatch - A 1949 Bulova His Excellency men's wristwatch featuring a 10 karat gold filled rectangular case with distinctive flared bullhorn lugs. Watch does not run, but winds. Probably needs a good cleaning. The silver-tone dial displays applied gold-tone Arabic numerals, a sub-seconds chapter ring at the 6 o'clock position, and is signed Bulova Excellency in block and script lettering. The exterior case back is stamped 10K GOLD FILLED BULOVA A9 with serial number 1179352. The interior case back is marked BULOVA FIFTH AVE NEW YORK and includes the stamped number 1451 along with hand-scratched jeweler's service marks. The manual wind mechanical movement is a Bulova caliber 7AK with 21 jewels, stamped U.S.A. and 49, consistent with the A9 date code. The watch is fitted with a gold-tone expansion-style link bracelet. Case size: 21mm width excluding crown; 38mm lug tip to lug tip.
