Identified makers include Hamilton Watch Co. of Lancaster, Pennsylvania; American Waltham Watch Co.; Elgin National Watch Co.; Tavannes Watch Co.; and a small Bulova Watch Co. wristwatch movement marked Swiss. The movements feature decorative engine-turned patterns on the plates and various technical inscriptions. Visible serial numbers include 16994724, 9788536, 19920241, and 1986089. Markings indicate jewel counts including 15 and 17 jewels, along with adjustment statuses. One Tavannes movement bears a U.S. patent date of May 24, 1904. The dials are white enamel with Roman or Arabic numerals and subsidiary seconds registers. The components are primarily constructed of nickel-finished brass and steel.
