Vintage Japanese Gilt Ceramic Bellhop Figurine Planter - A vintage ceramic figurine depicting a bellhop or page boy, manufactured in Japan. The piece is constructed from glazed white-bodied ceramic. The figure is modeled in a standing pose, supporting a large rectangular container or planter box in front of him. The bellhop is dressed in a white uniform with a pillbox hat, featuring painted facial details including rosy cheeks and blonde hair. Gold gilding accents the uniform buttons, collar, cuffs, shoes, and hat. The front of the rectangular box is decorated with a gilded floral motif.
