Czechoslovakian Art Glass Basket with Applied Blue Handle - This hand-blown art glass basket is attributed to the Bohemian glass-making region of Czechoslovakia, as indicated by the acid-etched mark on the base. The piece features an opaque white glass body with a bulbous form and a flared, ruffled rim. A translucent blue glass handle is applied and fused to the rim at two points. The construction includes a rough, snapped-off pontil mark on the underside. The mark CZECHOSLOVAKIA is etched in an arched format on the bottom surface. Width: 6 inches.
