Franz Welz Bohemian Spatter Glass Trumpet Vase - An art glass trumpet vase attributed to Franz Welz of Bohemia. The piece is constructed of hand-blown cased glass featuring a solid red-orange interior. The exterior is decorated with a yellow and orange spatter pattern that is pulled into vertical striations along the slender neck and forms broader mottled patches at the base and flared rim. The rim is finished with a thin, dark contrasting lip wrap in black or deep cobalt. The vase features a rounded, bulbous base with a ground and polished center.
