Silvertone Pearloid Lap Steel Guitar Manufactured by Valco Serial X52199 - This vintage six-string lap steel guitar features the Silvertone brand name on a decorative Art Deco metal headstock plate. The instrument is constructed with a wooden body and neck wrapped in a brown pearloid celluloid material. The back of the guitar is covered in a grey textured non-slip fabric. The fingerboard is cream-colored with printed black geometric fret markers and numerical indicators at the 3, 5, 7, 9, 12, 15, 17, 19, and 21 positions. The electronics and bridge are protected by a metal cover with a brown crinkle-finish, which also houses two white plastic control knobs and a 1/4 inch output jack. A metal serial number plate stamped X52199 is located on the reverse of the headstock.
