Mid-Century Modern Italian Cased Glass Trumpet Vase - A hand-blown art glass vase featuring a trumpet-form bowl in vibrant orange-red glass. The vessel tapers into a graduated ringed stem fused to a circular black glass foot. The underside of the base displays a circular white stamp that reads MADE IN ITALY. Also present on the base is a small rectangular yellowed paper label with handwritten characters B 1143 and some white adhesive residue. This form and color palette are characteristic of mid-20th century Italian glass production, specifically from the Empoli region. Height: 9 inches.
