Two Vintage Soda Advertising Metal Chalkboard Menu Signs, Orange Crush and Pepsi - This lot consists of two vintage advertising chalkboard menu signs manufactured from painted and embossed tin. The first sign features Orange Crush branding with a header displaying the company logo in white and green on an orange background, decorated with white orange blossoms. The lower two-thirds of the sign is a black chalkboard field with a handwritten menu. Small print at the base of the orange section attributes the trademark to Crush International Inc., Evanston, Illinois, and indicates it was printed in the U.S.A. with the reference number 1120. The second sign features Pepsi branding with an embossed red, white, and blue globe logo centered in a blue-bordered header. The lower portion is a black chalkboard field. The bottom edge of the blue frame is marked Made in U.S.A. Stout Industries, Inc. St. Louis, Mo. preceded by the code 1.1. Both signs are equipped with mounting holes along the edges.
