An 8-Piece Collection of Mrazek Peasant Art Industry Czechoslovakian Pottery - This is a collection of 8 pieces of hand-painted glazed earthenware produced by the Peasant Art Industry in Czechoslovakia, commonly identified as Mrazek pottery. The group features a vibrant folk-art style with hand-painted floral motifs including bold orange-red flowers, purple and green fruit or gourds, and yellow accents. The primary exterior glaze is a mottled or sponged cobalt blue, while the mugs feature a teal-blue mottled finish. Interiors are finished in cream or bright yellow glazes. The collection includes one lidded teapot, one large lidded canister, one small lidded canister, one large open bowl with a yellow interior, one small plate, two handled mugs, and one ashtray. Several pieces bear a circular blue stamp featuring a bird profile in the center with the text Peasant Art Industry Made in Czechoslovakia. Several items also feature impressed circular marks reading Made in Czechoslovakia. Hand-written blue numbers including 512 and 426.R. are present on the undersides. The mugs feature an impressed circular mark with the word Czechoslovakia and the number 260.
