A 7-Piece Susie Cooper for Grays Pottery Hand Painted Earthenware Set - This 7-piece set of glazed earthenware is attributed to Susie Cooper for Grays Pottery, featuring the hand-painted floral and bird pattern 7913. The collection consists of one waisted vase with two pierced, scrolled handles in ocher; one globular pitcher with a wide spout and orange handle; one creamer with an orange handle; one globular lidded sugar bowl with a small orange finial; two teacups; and one saucer. The decoration is executed in a vibrant folk-art style with stylized blue birds, large floral blossoms, and scrolling green foliage against a cream ground. Several pieces include orange-painted rims and blue scalloped inner borders. One teacup features a black handle while the other features an orange rim.
