A Pair of 19th Century Armorial Wax Seal Impressions for Wacker and Pellegrom Families - This lot features two heraldic wax seal impressions mounted on a square tan cardstock fragment. The larger seal is a circular impression in dark brown wax featuring a central coat of arms. The shield contains three charges, possibly fleurs-de-lis, and is surmounted by an ornate crest and mantling. A circular border contains an embossed legend where the names WACKER and PELLEGROM are visible. The smaller seal is a circular impression in matching dark brown wax featuring a simplified armorial device or related family crest. Both seals are adhered to heavy cardstock. The mount includes several handwritten ink inscriptions. The names Wacker and Pellegrom are written and underlined at the top right. The bottom left contains three lines of cursive script including notations such as 3, gr, W, CZ, BW, and plus symbols. The bottom right bears the handwritten initials P. W C.Z. A stamped or printed mark at the bottom edge reads Arm Gen B12, which refers to the Armorial General, a standard heraldic reference work.
