The dark green wax impression is mounted on a square, buff-colored cardstock. The central motif features a tree flanked by two heraldic shields held by lion supporters. The shield on the left displays a cross, associated with the arms of Haarlem. A bird crest is positioned above the tree. The seal circumscription reads T. GROOT. ZEGEL. VANT. BEREYDERSGILT. IN. HAERLEM. 1617. Hand-written notations on the card mount identify the specimen in Dutch and Latin, including Haarlem Lakenbereyders Gilda and Gr: Zeg: (Groot Zegel).
