NL Duchy of Guelders and Zutphen Wax Seal - This item is a double-sided pendant wax seal from the Duchy of Guelders and County of Zutphen. It is constructed from a reddish-brown wax disk with an integrated parchment tag. The obverse features a heraldic achievement with two shields under crowns and mantling. The legend reads GELDRIAE ET COMITATUS ZUTPHANIAE with SIG at the base. The reverse contains a smaller secondary seal impression with a coat of arms and a legend including GELDRIA. The parchment tag includes handwritten Dutch inscriptions identifying the pieces as the Groot zegel and Kleinzegel of the Hertogdom Gelre and graafschap Zutphen. Diameter: 89 mm.
