DE 1157 Frederick I Barbarossa Imperial Seal Reproduction, Wax - Modern cast reproduction of the 1157 Imperial Seal of Frederick I (Barbarossa), Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire. The item is composed of wax with an antiqued finish on the obverse. The obverse features an Imperial seal type design with a Latin legend transcribing as FREDERICVS DEI GRA ROMANORVM IMPERATOR AVGS. The reverse is flat with a cream-colored finish and bears an applied paper label identifying the subject and date. An integrated string loop is located at the top edge for display. Diameter: 76 mm.
