Archival Mounted Red Wax Seal Impression Sodality of the Assumption Maastricht Netherlands - This item is an archival mounting of a red wax seal impression representing the Sodality of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Maastricht, Netherlands. The oval seal features a central relief of the Virgin Mary standing on a crescent moon, flanked by four winged cherubim. The circular legend around the border reads SIGILLVM SODAL B V MARIA ASSVMPTA TRAIECTI. The seal is mounted on a white paper backing, which is affixed to a larger tan cardstock mount. The mount contains handwritten ink inscriptions in Dutch and Latin. The top inscription reads Congregatie van Jongelieden d. Kerk v.
