1721 Armorial Wax Seal Impression of Daniel Ras on Cardstock Mount - This item is an early 18th-century heraldic wax seal impression, professionally mounted on a cardstock support for archival or collection purposes. The seal is composed of dark brown wax and features a central coat of arms consisting of a quartered shield surmounted by a profile helmet and decorative mantling. A circumferential legend is present, with the name DANIEL visible on the left side and RAS on the right side. The seal is seated within a circular cutout in a square tan cardstock mount. The mount features several handwritten ink notations. The upper right corner is inscribed with the name Ras and Daniel below it. The upper left corner is marked with the date 1721. A collection or inventory number, CZ. 202, is written in the lower right corner. A small paper tag is adhered to the mount directly above the seal, bearing the handwritten inscription Daniel Ras. 1721. The reverse of the mount shows a vertical crease and a circular indentation where the seal is positioned. Mount: 3.25 inches x 3.5 inches Seal: 1.25 inches (32mm) diameter.
