A Pair of Vintage Italian Micro-Mosaic Floral Screw-Back Earrings - This is a matched pair of oval-shaped screw-back earrings featuring Italian micro-mosaic floral designs. Each earring consists of hand-set glass tesserae arranged in a multi-colored floral motif against a black background. One earring displays a red and pink flower bouquet with green leaves, while the other features a red flower and a white daisy with green foliage. The mosaic centers are set within silver-toned metal frames characterized by a rope-twist inner border and an openwork scalloped gallery outer border. The earrings are equipped with screw-back mechanisms for non-pierced ears. A small, raised rectangular cartouche is visible on the reverse of each earring, and impressed characters are present on the circular pads of the screw mechanisms, though these marks are worn and not clearly legible.
