A Collection of International Banknotes - This collection of international banknotes features issues from multiple global authorities including the Banque du Zaire, the Kingdom of Laos, the Reichsbank of Germany, the Bank of Greece, the Central Bank of Nigeria, and the National Bank of Serbia. Notable specimens include a 1981 Zaire 1 Unzaire note (serial CC 4392514 C) featuring Mobutu Sese Seko; a Laos 10 Kip note depicting Sisavang Vong; a 1910 German 1000 Mark note; a 1941 Yugoslavia 100 Dinar note (serial B. 2373); and a 1967 Nigerian 1 Pound note (serial B/62 285305). The notes are housed in individual white paper windowed sleeves which include printed historical and geographical information framed by green decorative borders. The Greek 2000 Million Drachmai note features a vignette of the Parthenon frieze. The notes utilize various printing methods including lithography and intaglio with polychrome designs.
