A Group of US $1 Coins Including a 1971-S Eisenhower Dollar Casino Roll and James Monroe Presidential Dollar - This lot contains a collection of United States $1 coins, consisting of a paper-wrapped roll and a single encapsulated coin. The roll is encased in a custom white paper wrapper featuring black graphics of the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign, labeled Casino Roll$ and Las Vegas, Nevada. The obverse end of the roll displays a 1971-S Eisenhower dollar, featuring the S mint mark of the San Francisco Mint. The reverse end of the roll shows the Apollo 11 mission insignia of an eagle landing on the moon. The encapsulated coin is a James Monroe Presidential $1 coin, featuring a right-facing portrait of the fifth president on the obverse and the Statue of Liberty on the reverse. The 1971-S Eisenhower dollar is composed of 40 percent silver, while the Presidential dollar is composed of manganese-brass clad copper.
