US 1921 Morgan Silver Dollar Danbury Mint 100th Anniversary Commemorative Plaque Set - This lot features a US 1921 Morgan Silver Dollar inset within a rectangular commemorative plaque issued by the Danbury Mint to mark the 100th anniversary of the coin's final year of issue (1921–2021). The Morgan Silver Dollar is composed of 0.900 fine silver. The obverse of the silver-toned plaque features ornate scrollwork, golden-toned banners with the years 1921 and 2021, and the inscriptions 100TH ANNIVERSARY and THE LAST MORGAN DOLLAR. The reverse of the plaque depicts a golden-toned bald eagle head against a stylized American flag background with the repeated inscription THE LAST MORGAN DOLLAR. The coin and plaque are housed in a clear acrylic protective case, presented in a mahogany-finished wood display box with a glass lid and blue felt-lined interior.
